ArmaTech Welcomes New Investors in Joint Initiative to Build the Next Generation of Nordic Defence Industry

ArmaTech i Kungsbacka Aktiebolag ("ArmaTech") is proud to announce that the company is welcoming new investors, with Flat Capital AB (publ) ("Flat") as the largest investor.

As part of the transaction, Defensor Group AB ("Defensor"), a newly established Swedish industrial group with Flat as its largest shareholder and with the ambition to become a leading force in the Nordic defence industry, will acquire 70 per cent of the shares in both ArmaTech and SAFE4U Security Of Sweden AB, a leading Swedish manufacturer of ballistic protection. The remaining 30 per cent in each company will continue to be held by their current owners who, together with Flat, other investors, and employees, will also become shareholders in Defensor.

Defensor brings together successful entrepreneur-led companies, combining their speed and innovative strength with the resources and resilience of a larger industrial group. Together, we will be able to take on larger orders, build shared expertise, create industrial synergies, and coordinate efforts to better meet customer needs. This also enables long-term investments that strengthen and scale up Nordic defence capacity.

Jonas Jägerbring, Founder of ArmaTech:

"For nearly 30 years we have built ArmaTech by staying close to our customers, understanding their operational needs, and delivering solutions that work in demanding environments. Through Defensor, we gain even stronger capabilities to continue growing and taking on larger and more complex missions – all while retaining the speed and responsiveness that have made us successful."

ArmaTech's operations will continue as usual. Anders Rudén, currently Deputy CEO of ArmaTech, will assume the role of CEO of ArmaTech in connection with the transaction. Max Jägerbring, currently CEO of ArmaTech, will take on the role of CEO of Defensor.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
